Indonesia faces complex challenges of pluralism where religion is often drawn into the vortex of social conflict. This study aims to map a theoretical construction that integrates the sociology of religion and peace education to build a sustainable culture of peace. The research method employed is a qualitative library research approach with a descriptive-analytical design. Secondary data were analyzed using content analysis techniques with theory and source triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results indicate a significant gap between national religious moderation policies and the reality of educational materials, which still tend to be normative-doctrinal. Nevertheless, alternative pedagogical strategies such as the internalization of Sufistic dimensions and the optimization of the hidden curriculum in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) have proven effective in fostering organic tolerance. This study concludes that a transformation of religious education toward a theo-anthroposcentric paradigm is essential. The synthesis of sociological frameworks and dialogical pedagogy allows for a redefinition of religious education so that it is not merely oriented toward ritual aspects but also contributes significantly to transforming potential conflict into social creativity energy to maintain national stability.
