This study focuses on the transformation of human development in Indonesia, specifically addressing the main challenges and sustainable solutions projected for 2026. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, the study identifies key issues including social and economic inequality, poverty, unemployment, infrastructure limitations, and the impact of climate change. These factors significantly affect the Human Development Index (HDI) and hinder equitable development across regions. The findings emphasize that while Indonesia has made progress, significant disparities remain, particularly between Western and Eastern Indonesia. Solutions proposed include increasing investment in education and healthcare, improving infrastructure, and adopting climate adaptation strategies. The study concludes that achieving sustainable human development in Indonesia requires inclusive policies, multi-sector collaboration, and long-term planning. The findings highlight the importance of addressing these challenges to ensure equitable growth and better quality of life for all Indonesians by 2026.
