Abstrak

Social interaction is a fundamental human necessity profoundly influenced by gender construction as a product of cultural values and social norms. Despite rapid modernization, the persistence of traditional gender roles and rigid stereotypes continues to dominate social behavior structures, often triggering sociopsychological injustices. This study aims to analyze the influence of gender construction on social interaction patterns, synthesize various sociopsychological theories, and offer a framework for harmonious and equal relationships. The method employed is a qualitative approach based on library research using descriptive-interpretive analysis techniques through deductive and inductive patterns. The findings reveal that gender identity formed through cultural socialization (nurture) more dominantly influences social behavior compared to biological factors (nature). Systematic inequalities are still found in the form of marginalization and double burdens, particularly in the division of domestic roles. This study concludes that the adoption of Equilibrium Theory and the principle of mutuality (mubadalah) is crucial for deconstructing stereotypes that hinder individual participation. Integrating principles of equality and social inclusion (GEDSI) serves as the primary foundation for achieving a more just, harmonious, and complementary social order amidst the dynamics of rapid contemporary changes.
