Author Guidelines

Submission Process

Authors are invited to submit original research articles, theoretical papers, or innovative practices that fall within the focus and scope of the Nusantara Education Journal. Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English and submitted through the journal's online submission system.

Manuscript Preparation

• Language: All manuscripts must be written in English.

• Length: Manuscripts should generally not exceed 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

• Format: Manuscripts should be typed on A4 size paper using 1.5 line spacing, with Arial font size 11. Use APA (7th Edition) style for citations and references.

• Structure:

  • Title

  • Abstract (150–250 words)

  • Keywords (exactly 5 keywords)

  • Introduction

  • Methodology

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should briefly describe the purpose of the study, methodology, key findings, and major conclusions. Authors must provide five (5) relevant keywords that accurately reflect the content of the article.

Plagiarism Policy

All submissions must be original and free of plagiarism. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 25% will be rejected or returned for revision. The journal uses plagiarism detection software to ensure academic integrity.

Peer Review Process

Submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. The identity of both reviewers and authors is concealed to ensure objective and fair evaluation. Reviewers assess the manuscript's relevance, originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.

Open Access Policy

The Nusantara Education Journal provides immediate open access to its content. All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to publish and archive it. Articles are distributed under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.

Article Processing Charges

There is no charge for submission. However, authors are required to pay a modest publication fee of $10 USD (or Rp.150,000 IDR) to cover operational costs after the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Archiving

The journal ensures long-term preservation of all published content through participation in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving systems.
